JAKARTA—ExxonMobil decided to continue managing the assets of three companies engaged in the liquefied natural gas production and operational in Aceh gas fields, namely Mobil Exploration Indonesia Inc., ExxonMobil Oil Indonesia Inc., and Mobil Indonesia LNG Inc.
Each removable stock is 100% for Exxon shares were in Block B Arun and gas field offshore North Sumatra, and PT Arun NGL, detachable stock is at 30%.
The Company’s VP for Public and Government Affairs Erwin Maryoto said: "Considering all aspects, we decided to continue to manage these assets," via a text message to Bisnis, Wednesday, (2/1).

With a slightly annoyed tone, Hadi Prasetyo said that the assets-to-be-released are not very profitable for Exxon, however, for smaller companies can be more profitable because their economic standards differ.
The Richard Owen’s extension refusal was directly made by the Head of SK Gas Jero Wacik. Hadi said that Indonesian Government has the right to change when a certain official is uncooperative, such as keeps moving or changing his decision. "We can stop his tenure. Hadi claimed to not having information about who will be the successor, however, certainly, the SK Migas does not support the extension of the working president of Exxon.
Deputy SK Migas for Operations Control Gde Pradnyana added Richard Owen was replaced because his term will end in February 2013 where SK Migas then asked the ExxonMobil HQ for replacement. The proposal will be discussed by SK Migas Head, and to do the fit and proper test.
Gde expected with the replacement of the CEO of Exxon, Exxon can improve performance over the years. "The CEO should be proposed by investors, in this case by the ExxonMobil headquarters. However, before being appointed in-fit and proper test used by the Head of Sk Migas, "he said.
The Deputy Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Rubiandini Rudi said Exxon should tidy up itself. "The way they work is not pro to Indonesia, and also the target of the Early Production Facilities in Cepu block is not achieved, therefore, the current CEO deserves to be replaced," said Rudi.

Although not able to achieve the desired target the government's target of 27,000 bpd, it will continue to try and work with SKSP can increase production of oil and gas to a safe start.
Throughout 2012, their gas productions of the assets to remove initially were on the average of 350 MMscfd. During 2010, the production was 215 MMscfd. These assets are including Arun field and satellite fields at Arun as well as in North Sumatra Offshore field. However, the stock offering does not include the multiple projects or participation rights owned by the company in several other oil and gas fields, as well as East Natuna Block Cepu Riau Islands.
