Hutama Karya to work on IDR22 trillion project in Aceh and North Sumatera

JAKARTA - PT Hutama Karya along with several other SOEs have agreed to cooperate with Pelindo I to build three ports in Aceh and North Sumatra worth IDR22 trillion.

PT Hutama Karya Corporate Secretary Ari Widiantoro stated that those three ports are Nagan Raya in Aceh, Belawan and Kuala Tanjung in North Sumatra.

Hutama Karya along with several other SOEs have agreed to cooperate with Pelindo I to build those ports.

“Hutama Karya also participated as investor. The total investment value for those three projects is around IDR22 trillion,” he said, Friday (1/11).

For investment mechanism, Hutama Karya along with several SOEs and Pelindo I will allocate 30% of the equity, while the remaining from bank funding.

The ports construction has been inserted into the Company’s business plan for next year and expected to begin also next year after conducting feasibility study and analysis on environmental impact. “Kuala Tanjung is the biggest, then Belawan and Nagan Raya in Aceh.” [bisnis]
